Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. She is renowned for her films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). The daughter of an artistic family in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. After working as assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to modeling and acting. She received an award called the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's feature film Love Story was an international smash, and earned her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, she had been voted as the number one female box-office starter in the world. In 1972 her hand-footprints as well as her signature were inscribed at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and many more. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw is married three times.
